A good bond does two things. It stops the small slips that make you self conscious, and it lets a lace front sit flat and natural at the hairline instead of lifting. For toppers, the right adhesive is what makes the piece feel like part of your own hair rather than something clipped on top.
Different pieces and different skin call for different products. What holds a full lace front is not always what you want for a small topper, and sensitive skin needs a gentler formula.
